This instrumentation hardware is a Commercial Off The
Shelf modular instrumentation system that fills the
requirement for a small size low cost product line to
either replace or complement full military specification
instrumentation equipment capabilities.
The Mini-Series
equipment design is based on proven designs from
predecessor full military instrumentation systems such
as Advanced Airborne Test Instrumentation System (AATIS)
and Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS) and is
interoperable with products from these systems on the
common CAIS Bus that was established as a standard by
the US Tri-Services in 1991. The MiniSeries Provides the
user a total test instrumentation solution that is able
to provide time correlated analog, discrete, avionics
and position information. The system is scalable to meet
the size and data requirements of the user. |
